A Halloween card I made for my humorous illustration class
Working on photoshop, seeing if I still have any skills. Even though I’ve only been out of school for.. a little over two weeks, I haven’t felt like i’ve actually.. done anything? Tonight will be full of drawing portraits of people (possibly failing at making them look like the actual person)
One color portrait! It started out as myself, if I didn’t look like myself this is what I would look like.
For sketch group blog the first week challenge was to draw The Avengers, and since I was recently compared to Ironman, I decided to use this as a chance to make myself a superhero.
I only allowed myself a quick glimpse at the Ironman suit, and only 20 minutes for the linework/pose. Although, it’s still pretty sketchy, and there are a few things wrong with it, I like it. Giving myself 20 minutes stops me from over thinking and just makes me draw.
messing around with some sketches and decided to color one.
a page from my sketchbook.
i’ve been looking at the book by ben caldwell and copying his bodies.
trying to figure out how clothes go on bodies gahhh
